POP! Goes Dubfluencial – Drink The Bass!

Now im very sure this mix will cause some controversy  amongst the whats ‘Dubstep’ whats not ‘Dubstep’ debate. Its just a one off special called POP! Goes Dubfluencial which focuses on some of the more commercial tracks that have had the ‘Dubstep/Bass’ make over. Some consider these tunes to cheapen the true roots and sounds of Dubstep. Whats yours?. I love Dubstep not, just because its all about hard bass etc but the fact its turned into something no other Genre has managed to really do. Your allowed, with or without scrutiny to produce what you want and still have the same audiences appreciation.

Dubfluencial 7 – Desk Full Of Bass

I feel sad and quite shameful because many have emailed asking have we gone and left the Ego Thieves ship and sailed away on our ship full of songs. This my good friends is not the case. Its been the Summer (Well as much as a British Summer permits!) and during this time many of us are just way too busy. With myself doing many secret projects which in the next few months will all finally be revealed along side lots of BBQs and deep fried halloumi.

Urban Nerds Carnival Special

Its nearly that time again! Can’t believe its been a year since the last Carnival special… time is no joke. August is usually my fav month of the year. Not because its my Birthday 🙂 but because the Sun is usually shining and it remind me of those badman days of 6 weeks holidays. Well if like me your reministant of those past days, Urban Nerds is the best place to relive that fun but with allot more bass! With legends MJ Cole & DJ Zinc doing some big sets, there’s also the return of Mumdance, Mampi Swift and allot more. At a secret East London venue soon to be revealed and early bird tickets going for just £8 you can buy here. You would be dumb to miss it. Wurd.

Intelligent Hooldum 4 – A Tubby T Tribute

Another mix, yet this one has allot more depth than most. Its dedicated to my boy and legend Mr Tubby T who sadly died last year. I could go into how he died, how its been over a year yet only feels like yest… but that’s not for now. Instead i decided to do what i do best and put together a tracklist of tunes dedicated to him that i know he loved and of course included his classic track ‘Tales Of The Hood’. Which today, still stands strong and has the best message Ive heard a UK artist spit in a very long time.
