Binary Bass #01 – Mixed By Jack Swift

Though its just gone boxing day the funs not over yet. We have another post Xmas present for you now..! This is the first mix in a brand new series called Binary Bass, which for all our regular followers you will know this mix as MDMA Sessions. I decided to change the brand/name of this mix because MDMA Sessions didn’t fit and was only suppose to be a one off. But as its popularity grew (it seems allot love the mash up style of mixing with an anything goes rule!) i thought its about time it gets its own home.

Free Roll Deep Riddim

I miss Grime. Fact. Whether you agree or not its in a better or worst state, I was there swinging my gun finger in the air at Eskimo Dances and witnessing the start of some of the greatest artists this country has to offer you can buy here. Roll Deep were pinnacle to the scene and were one of the ‘major’ crews about. Well to celebrate the release of their Street Anthems compilation showcasing some of their greatest hits we have this free track for you to download which was previously unreleased. Mixes Reupped Part One

Its been a crazy first week of relaunch. Just a quick note to all who downloaded and signed up, big ups to all of you and trust we appreciate your support. Ive had allot of emails an contacts asking for a few reups of older mixes and broken links. This was all due to the Ministry Of Sound madness that happened but now we have reupped all the back catalog. So no more MediaFire (for now lol), you can download them all direct and fast using our private server. We know theres still a few outstanding but we will get them up as soon as possible. Any problems leave a comment will sort it =]

URBAN NERDS – HALLOWEEN SPECIAL

If you didn’t know, we been a bit missing recently. But its all for a good reason, and in two weeks time you will know why. Big up to those that know and giving us loads of amazing feedback… cannot wait! Lots of new mixes coming, we haven’t slowed down, if anything we have only just begun. Quick big ups to the many many followers and supporters who have got us where we are in just 6 short month.

From 50k page-views a month on average now, 10k unique visitors on average, well over 200k downloads and impossible to really count anymore, hundreds of forums and blogs showing us love, people re upping mixes on rapidshare, torrents, newgroups lol just everywhere (even though they are always free on here ) we thank you all and we love you long time… init.

A Mixtastical Update 2.0

First off sorry to all those who have been sending in mixes and thinking im airing you by not posting them. We just busy as some hot crack in Camden and trying to get through it. Here are some mixes from friends alike who want you to download and listen… all for free A bit of Funky, a dollop of Grime, a smidgen of Dubstep and lots of bangers regardless. Life is good. Ten years ago you had to TKD this shit…! Long live the tinternet.

Rossi B & Luca 2009 Mix

Right, for starters Rossi B & Luca are the baddest of bad and by far the best DJ tag team in this country. Though Rossi is my boy i say that as a DJ as well as a Gooner. They have (9 months later…! Slacking isn’t the word!) finally released their first mix of 2009 and though its 9 months late it still puts most mixes to shame. With their classic style of no style they play anything and everything from Funky House, Old Skool Garage, Dubstep. Drum & Bass and more along side the odd cut of Luca’s scratching.

Intelligent Hooldum 4 – A Tubby T Tribute

Another mix, yet this one has allot more depth than most. Its dedicated to my boy and legend Mr Tubby T who sadly died last year. I could go into how he died, how its been over a year yet only feels like yest… but that’s not for now. Instead i decided to do what i do best and put together a tracklist of tunes dedicated to him that i know he loved and of course included his classic track ‘Tales Of The Hood’. Which today, still stands strong and has the best message Ive heard a UK artist spit in a very long time.

Guest Mix 003 – DJ Score Five

This is one of my fav mix series we have on EgoThieves. All the DJs are hand picked and we don’t just take any old mix. This is the third installment bought to you by another Rinse FM star DJ Score Five. Funky House, Grime and Bassline. This is a 30 min stomper of riddems!
