Incnic :: Raav Mix

Twitter has many uses, knowing what certain people eat for breakfast and how many times they shit in a day isnt one of them. But recently we have had some really nice followers. As most know i don’t just allow anyone to follow us and am constantly deleting the bots/crap/idiots that try to add themselves to the chain. Today however someone called Nic Hamilton decided to follow so as im only polite i clicked his website shown on his Twitter and found a very nice mix. Not the best mixing skills notably, but a very nice selection of tracks and has been put straight on the HTC.

Dubfluencial 3 – The Dubfighter Edition

Dubfluencial 3 is out to download now. This is quite obviously a special Street Fighter influenced edition namely ‘Dubfighter’. With a Street Fighter 4 Dubstep track that should of been featured on the game itself. Mixed by Ego Thieves very own Jenai, there is close to 20 tracks all squeezed into a perfect 40 min blend and of course all in 320kbps and nothing less. Also dropping some Glitch and a slice of Electro to spice things up a bit. Dubfluencial 2 was downloaded over x1000 times and has received immense praise. Intelligent Hoodlum Vol Two – Love Dilla

Are you an Intelligent Hoodlum? What is an Intelligent Hoodlum? Well… its an individual who unlike many of the new artists around, (to mention a few such as Soulja Boy, lil Hurricane and even up and coming Charles Hamilton) appreciate and honor the past to create and evolve the future. Too many of the new generation of producers and artists these days in most genres but especially Hip Hop do not do their history and bow down to the creators of the very genre itself. You cant become a Doctor, Scientist, Director or Pilot for example without doing your history so why is music different and why does this new generation feel they can put down and slew their predecessors?
