Chew The Fat! May 29th.. Boom!

We been meaning to hit a Fat! event since they kicked off again this year. But with Urban Nerds, lots of work, setting Ego Thieves and erm 46 inch LED TVs and Resident Evil 5 we have been stretched, especially feel shit about missing the last one as our old colleague and bredrin Lee Mortimer was there 🙁 …. But fear not, the Thieves will be in full force for the next one due at the end of the month on Friday 29th May, Camera’s in hand and brand new Tee’s hot off the press.

The Reset – Don’t You Dare Miss It

As most know im British to the bone regardless of my background or origin! The state of our beloved country is dire, along with the rest of the world. So why not come down to The Reset and support your local and home grown fashion labels. If you have never purchased any (Boy Better Know does not count, no) homegrown clothing before, prepare to be shocked.

Star Wars Does Snatch

Nope, not some kind of porn film parody! Just a quick video that made a fair few of us laugh over the weekend. Quite late on this but oh well, just posting this up in the mean time as tomorrow we have new Dubfluencial 4, Friday we have new mix Electzilla and Sat brand new Just House Vol 3 with allot more in between.

Urban Nerds 2nd Birthday Aftermath!

If you wasn’t there, shame shame know your name. If you was thank you for coming down and Im sure that goes for the whole Nerds team. It was a bad night with allot of eager ravers and allot of good vibes. Was very different from the usual Nerds scenario as it was set in a 3 room warehouse (which was confusing at times lol). Big up our Urban Nerds family who worked very hard at putting the night together.

R.I.P. Gavin Defoe // Escobar

Ego Thieves would like to send all its condolences to Gavin Defoe also known as Escobar. Gavin was a notorius Grime MC and was a key player and figure on Deja Vu way back in the days of Nasty Crew and Slew Dem. Most will remember him as one of the first hard Mc’s to bring the no hold bar’s attitude and bring the hype, though of course allot of his content was very controversial he never let that hold him back. He never did the music for the money, he did it because its what he represented and loved.
