Dubstep was now starting to really take over the world and I mean that in a literal sense too. It was blowing up Stateside, Europe was embracing the sound and even Russia was starting to get heavily involved. My plan for Pop Dub as a gateway mix into the scene was now cemented and fast become one of the most popular mixes on the site.

With the fourth iteration of Pop Dub ready to drop at the start of the summer, I teamed back up with fellow Ego Thief, JC Adams to create the official Pop Dub Ice Lolly, representing the colours, sounds, and taste of the summer to come. I was obsessed with the character and it became so popular we even did a run of a limited number of 500 prints that sold out worldwide! It was truly incredible.

With huge tracks from the likes of Nero, Rusko, High Rankin, Zeds Dead, Joker, 12th Planet and just so many ridiculous bangers, this mix really became one of the featured summer 2010 mixes that garnered over 20,000 downloads before the sun even started to hit our British island shores. It’s a summer I will never forget!
