Its actually been a lil while since we did a Just House. Reason being is we wanted to make sure it was going in the right direction. We do love a bit of Funky House don’t get me wrong, but its quickly been taken into a direction we aren’t really happy to follow as much these days. We love what people like Marcus Nasty is playing, that right combination of Deep, Soulful and a few uplifting bangers in between with a cheeky hint of MC for those sing-a-long moments.
Its been a mad few weeks here at Thieves headquarters. I can’t even begin to thank all the people who blogged the latest Dubfluencial, posted it on forums and even upped it (and past ones) on Torrents. Here’s a few of the compliments it received:
Here is the second and final part of our tribute to the king of pop, Michael Jackson. This second edition takes us back to his roots and his Jackson 5 legacy. Tracks like Ben, I’ll Be There, Music & Me. As well as more soulful tracks including one of my all time favs Butterflies. Thanks to all those who emailed in and showing love for first part and also to the many who loved the artwork (and the random dude who emailed me a pic of him putting my artwork on his wall as a poster! Craziness!). So here is our final salute to the most influential in music of our generation. Rest in peace.

This part is our ‘Club’ tribute, bringing you all the bangers that we would want to hear on a night out and get our Moonwalk on. Still cant believe he is gone, very sad but this is how we choose to remember him. Not for his politics, just simply for his music. Once a legend always a legend.

Well worth a listen if your a fan, and if your not have a listen anyway you might just see what all the hype is about. His debut album ‘Man On The Moon’ is only round the corner I’m told…!
Got an email today from an old forum member (Big up the Uptown Records forum… RIP lol) lil Dave presenting me with his latest mix along side DJ C. Radio Signal is a promotional mix to showcase their new night they have over Cambridge ways at club Fez on Thursday 23rd July. This mix is full of lots of bangers and commercial tunes to get you heated up! Big up lil Dave and all the Cambridge crew, also my Cabinet family down there. I will be attending this rave so hope to see a few of you there 🙂
