Yup, the long awaiting Playstation version of the social network is soon upon you all. Now i could be boastful and let you all know Ive had a beta for nearly a month now but that would be arrogant 😉 So far Ive really enjoyed it and though a tad laggy here and there it certainly delivers a console first for real social networking along side the likes of Second Life. Now for those of you are asking yourself what the hell is this all about? Its a place where you can meet new people or friends you already have and just chill. You can play games (big up Faith SFX for his Chess and Draughts games at my yard the other day lol), watch new trailers, have your own home.. yes sounds a tad gay but its actually very appealing once you get into arranging your furniture and wallpaper (i watched way too much Changing Rooms as a kid..).The graphics are on point for a free application, you can see Sony have taken this very seriously, read below for some additional features they have announced moments ago.

Home is a free application, and i predict it will do big things when you look at the likes of above. There is now also a Far Cry 2 section available which i will report on later in the week. Don’t get it twisted though, you will have to put your hand in your pockets of course very soon. Maybe you want to buy your avatar some new clothes, a new corner sofa for your house maybe? Or get into what im told some ‘adult’ sections of the experience. What ever floats your boat..
