Moony – Soul Session EP

Nurofen for breakfast. It’s never quite gonna beat Coco Pops is it. But despite my throat feeling like a cross between the Sahara and a hedgehog’s back, my ears are feeling healthy. Healthy because Brighton’s Moony has serviced them with a dose of soulful-edged house on his upcoming ‘Soul Session EP’. It’s a most distinguished step away from the one trick pony stirrups too. As fans of Moony will already know, there’s usually a wholesomely grime type texture to his tracks, however, four lashings of this tropical steez conjures up memories of vanilla ice cream trips in July. Oh, July.
