Mixes Reupped Part One

Its been a crazy first week of relaunch. Just a quick note to all who downloaded and signed up, big ups to all of you and trust we appreciate your support. Ive had allot of emails an contacts asking for a few reups of older mixes and broken links. This was all due to the Ministry Of Sound madness that happened but now we have reupped all the back catalog. So no more MediaFire (for now lol), you can download them all direct and fast using our private server. We know theres still a few outstanding but we will get them up as soon as possible. Intelligent Hooldum 4 – A Tubby T Tribute

Another mix, yet this one has allot more depth than most. Its dedicated to my boy and legend Mr Tubby T who sadly died last year. I could go into how he died, how its been over a year yet only feels like yest… but that’s not for now. Instead i decided to do what i do best and put together a tracklist of tunes dedicated to him that i know he loved and of course included his classic track ‘Tales Of The Hood’. Which today, still stands strong and has the best message Ive heard a UK artist spit in a very long time.

As the summer glimmers in the near distance i can never help myself but reminisce of my childhood, which for me was the 1990’s. When R&B was badder than bad and ever fresh and evolving ( and yes, right now its very poor!). This is part one of a special series i will be doing over the summer, celebrating the vast amount of amazing music i grew up with. Intelligent Hoodlum Vol Two – Love Dilla

Are you an Intelligent Hoodlum? What is an Intelligent Hoodlum? Well… its an individual who unlike many of the new artists around, (to mention a few such as Soulja Boy, lil Hurricane and even up and coming Charles Hamilton) appreciate and honor the past to create and evolve the future. Too many of the new generation of producers and artists these days in most genres but especially Hip Hop do not do their history and bow down to the creators of the very genre itself. You cant become a Doctor, Scientist, Director or Pilot for example without doing your history so why is music different and why does this new generation feel they can put down and slew their predecessors?
