Ones To Watch #2: TCTS

From yesterday’s pilgrimage to the state of Hawaii, we’re back to the torrential regions of Manchester to share our second ‘one to watch’ producer of 2013.

Funnily enough, TCTS‘ music could be described much in the same way as a troubled, mid-life crisis weather reporter would describe Manchester’s climate. Dark, yet with glimpses of sunny spells. See earthy garage and house sounds provide most of the soundscape here, yet tropical splinters of lighthearted synths also rear their heads at very relevant times.

We’re not alone in singing his praises either. The likes of Annie Mac and Huw Stephens are already fans and teen duo, Bondax, hosted last September’s vivacious release, ‘Like This’ on their JustUs label.
