Having been involved in underground music for fifteen years and started mixing at the age of 11 he was the youngest DJ ever to play on hit pirate radio station Freek FM at the age of 13. Soon after touring around the country, he then left his DJing behind him to concentrate on University to obtain his Degree & Masters. Since finishing Uni he went on to develop London’s Uptown Records store & started Ego Thieves along side various projects. Within 6 months, he is one of the Internets & undergrounds most renown DJs with well over 250k downloads and counting… things have only just begun.

If there was ever a veteran of UK underground music, Excel would stand high in the ranks. From one of the first DJs to break UK garage, House and everything in between. He has graced most of the Uks finest pirate stations and nearly every club and event worth playing at. Releasing hit tracks and then going on to managing Uptown Records during its finest days, Excel has long been a pioneer and face in the scene. Now linking up with Jenai to form Ego Thieves and further push the boundaries of new music & media including his hit mix series Just House and various events in and around London, Excel is still very much a major influence in UK music.
