Though I was born in ’83, the 90s is where it all started. Only now can we really look back and appreciate the vast quality of music that came out then. Pop music was about pushing boundaries, not living up to stereotypical views or bowing down to record labels. Songs that shouldn’t of entered the charts did, and topped them as well! Tracks from the underground crossed over to provide a decade of unreal dance music.
The legend and god that is Todd. Nearly every artist and producer I know have nothing but great things to say about one of the pioneers in Dance music, Todd Edwards. From UK Garage to Daft Punk, Todd has had his fingers in many a pie. One of my all time favorite producers, he has created his individual sound that so many have tried to mimic, yet failed. Chopped up samples, cut up vocals along side bouncy bassline and soulful chords… you cant go wrong. This is part one, more to follow.

I hope you enjoy this first installment from the modern day genius that is Flying Lotus. A mix between his older more Hip Hop influenced sounds, to his current experimental Electronica that is as hard to explain as it is to produce. My fav collection from him bar none. His older Hip Hop stuff is just amazing! Allot of people wont of heard allot of these I’m sure.
