Xmas is over, belly’s are full and presents unwrapped, exchanged and broken. Yet we all have the same problem at this time of year… what the hell are we going to do on New Years Eve?. Over priced clubs with over priced tickets and usually allot of hype that ends up being a normal night with nothing much special to remember. Well I’m here to give you an early Xmas present and sort out your NYE in one swift bang.

Our entertainment cousins Urban Nerds have teamed up with ATG to bring you one disgusting line up for your raving pleasure. With a line up that includes DJ EZ, Skepta, Coki, Loefah, Roska and many many more. This is definitely a night not to be missed. Now tickets where just £10 and £15 alike but they where snapped up early and all gone but fear not the next batch is going for only £20 but these are limited and will go up to £25 so get in early. All i can tell you is it will be in East London, in a big venue with a fuck load of speakers and more drink than you can shake at a drunk Mexican.

Ego Thieves will be there in full effect bringing in the New Year the way we plan to carry on. Don’t sit there thinking about what to do and get your ticket in early to avoid being one of those people trying to get in at the last min, because believe me you will be otherwise…

URBAN NERDS SCARE FIESTA

Its that time again. Urban Nerds is back, for the first time its here for Halloween….! Teaming up with the boys over at Fiesta. This is not to be missed believe me. The event will be held over two days, yes TWO days. It covers your whole weekend of scary shenanigans located at the already half spooky Macbeth in Hoxton. In house cinema, Haunted House photo booth, lots of trick and treats and even more scares

Fancy dress is a MUST, i repeat, its a must. If you come in your plains you will be laughed at and maybe even egged who knows, but what i do know is it will cost you more if your not. With the regulars Rattus Rattus, Klose One, DJ Drama, those Men In Masks and for the first time ever live in the flesh myself and Random Impulse from the Ego Thieves have teamed up to bring you a set not to be missed with a few tricks up our sleeve too. Its nearly that time again! Can’t believe its been a year since the last Carnival special… time is no joke. August is usually my fav month of the year. Not because its my Birthday but because the Sun is usually shining and it remind me of those badman days of 6 weeks holidays. Well if like me your reministant of those past days, Urban Nerds is the best place to relive that fun but with allot more bass! With legends MJ Cole & DJ Zinc doing some big sets, there’s also the return of Mumdance, Mampi Swift and allot more. Big up to fellow Ego Thief Professor Green for putting on a pukka little night down at The Macbeth in Hoxton last night. With live performance’s from Rinse, Charlie brown, DJ Duo Fiddy and Hattie, DJ Shortee Blitz, Skream and of course the man himself Professor Green along side long time partner Cores. Apart from the lack of air conditioning it was a good turn out with lots of party people. Check the few pics below, not many but i wasn’t really there to take pics, just to skank.

We been meaning to hit a Fat! event since they kicked off again this year. But with Urban Nerds, lots of work, setting Ego Thieves and erm 46 inch LED TVs and Resident Evil 5 we have been stretched, especially feel shit about missing the last one as our old colleague and bredrin Lee Mortimer was there …. But fear not, the Thieves will be in full force for the next one due at the end of the month on Friday 29th May, Camera’s in hand and brand new Tee’s hot off the press.

With a disgustingly heart thumping line up consisting of Foamo (Chew the Fat! resident), Rusko & Caspa, DJ Zinc, Raffertie, The Boog-A-Loo Crew & all conceled within the Arches it would be a sin to miss it.
