Here is the second and final part of our tribute to the king of pop, Michael Jackson. This second edition takes us back to his roots and his Jackson 5 legacy. Tracks like Ben, I’ll Be There, Music & Me. As well as more soulful tracks including one of my all time favs Butterflies. Thanks to all those who emailed in and showing love for first part and also to the many who loved the artwork (and the random dude who emailed me a pic of him putting my artwork on his wall as a poster! Craziness!). So here is our final salute to the most influential in music of our generation. Rest in peace.

As the summer glimmers in the near distance i can never help myself but reminisce of my childhood, which for me was the 1990′s. When R&B was badder than bad and ever fresh and evolving ( and yes, right now its very poor!). This is part one of a special series i will be doing over the summer, celebrating the vast amount of amazing music i grew up with. Still cant believe he is gone, very sad but this is how we choose to remember him. Not for his politics, just simply for his music. Once a legend always a legend.
R.I.P. Michael Jackson > Ego Thieves Salutes The King Of Pop
Unbelievable is the only word to even start to sum up this overwhelming piece of news. This will be a brief post, i will be doing a tribute mix tomoz with the team to celebrate exactly why this man is the legend he is. He carved modern music as we know it along side Quincy Jones and is the ultimate pop star of all time. For me and many other 80s babies we grew up on this man, he is a part of our heritage and our childhood. This is a very sad day and will affect the world in an immense way.
Michael Jackson Dead? In A Coma? Or Just In Hospital?
Am sitting here with the misses (Reem Kanj) and my brother (Ty) and just in as much shock and bewilderment as everyone else. Is he dead? Because i dont trust TMZ for shit. Los Angeles Times are saying that he is in a coma and the BBC are saying they have no confirmations of anything. Hope its not true, if so its going to defiantly be one of those days you remember were you are when Michael Jackson died.
LA Times have now confirmed that he is dead! This is crazy and beyond words.

A bit late on this one and only really posting up for all my Kid Cudi fans in case you missed it. Dat Kid From Cleveland is a brand new mixtape from DJ E-V and Datnewcudi.com full of lots of exclusives and unreleased goodies. Well worth a listen if your a fan, and if your not have a listen anyway you might just see what all the hype is about. His debut album ‘Man On The Moon’ is only round the corner I’m told…!

Got an email today from an old forum member (Big up the Uptown Records forum… RIP lol) lil Dave presenting me with his latest mix along side DJ C.
