We have been a bit behind on posting up our Fashion Drops , but fear not we are back on the grind. Here is today’s selection of goodies that we are following and either buying, wanting to buy or upset we cant buy!
Hellz is a name you should know, if you don’t then sit back and consume our information. They are a duo that go by the names of Bam and Lanie. This is their second drop of their 2009 collection ‘Renegades Of Funk’. With inspiration taken from the 80’s New York Electro scene. ”Much like the 1983 track which combined Electro beats with rap, Hellz features the coming together of dark and bright and soft and hard fabrications.” If your lucky enough to be able to rock these then don’t dare miss out! XLarge is a label i love! Here they are again pushing the levels up with a sneak preview video of their 2009 Summer collection, presented in an animated clip. Check the King Kong, Donkey Long and even Dick Tracey themes in there. Cant wait!
FRSH and the Filipino Boxing champ Manny Pacuaio along with Pound 4 Pound International have also upped the levels. Teaming up to create a limited edition Tee for Pacman’s next fight on 2nd May against our home boy Ricky Hatton. The tee will be the official Team Pac Man shirt and all proceeds I’m told will go to the Manny Pacquiao Foundation which helps provide support for the underprivileged in the Philippines. There are only 502 Tees available (commemorating the 5/02 fight date << Genius!). The Tees where designed and produced by FRSH. I really love them, and it shows that Asia yet again take Fashion seriously no matter the occasion. Now only if someone would get Hatton something other than a Ben Sherman shirt? Last but not certainly least is one of the best and up and coming brand to come out of the UK is TerraTag. We will be doing a big feature on them soon when i track them down in any of the rare spare moments i have! For now you can hit the website here (though i am not impressed with the site and it absolutely frustrates me that their brand does not suit their site at all… tut tut!) and also visit one our Ego Thieves fav stores Mash (again, terrible website for such an amazing store!) and buy their goodies.
